Vanderbilt Wins Majors World Series Two Games to One

Updated Friday May 6, 2016 by Trabuco Canyon Little League.

After three hard-fought games against Notre Dame, Vanderbilt won the Majors World Series two games to one.  All three games were closely contested with Vandy winning the first game 2-1, Notre Dame coming back late to take game two 6-5, and Vandy closing out the decisive game three, winning 2-0.  The three game combined score of 9-7 really does tell the tale of an extremely well-pitched series.  Along with some timely hitting and defensive gems, this World Series truly displayed two balanced and competitive teams representing the best of TCLL and little league baseball.

Congratulations to the Vanderbilt players and coaches on their victory.
